Care information

How to care for your jewelry will vary based on the metal and the stones but there are a few things you can do to keep your jewelry looking good for as long as possible.

- Refrain from wearing rings during certain activities that could damage it or bend it out of shape like weightlifting, using certain gym equipment, contact sports, gardening, crafting etc.

- Avoid wearing your pieces in a hot tub, a swimming pool, a bath. Also avoid wearing them in bed as the blankets could catch on a prong and stones could fall off.

- Removing them before applying lotion, makeup or soap can help avoid buildup on the stones. Some chemicals in hair spray, nail polish remover and some cosmetics can be damaging to some stones as well.

- Removing them before using cleaning chemicals like bleach or chlorine, they could damage the stones and the metal.

- If you start noticing buildup or dirt trapped in the piece, gently scrub it off using a soft toothbrush with warm water and soap. You can let it sit in that mixture for a while to help remove the impurities.

- Store your jewelry in a dry place, away from sunlight, preferably by itself in a small plastic baggie or a cloth pouch. When pieces touch they start to scratch each other.
